Rapid Capacitor Charging
TheĀ 5 kW nanosecond pulsers can be modified for rapidly charge larger capacitors. The unit was designed to charge capacitors up to 4 nF in 100 – 300 ns (depending on capacitance). The pulser was tolerant to shorts for up to 3 seconds.
Continuous Operation
- Output Voltage: 0-2 kV
- Output Capacitance: 0-4 nF
- Pulse Repetition Frequency: 0-100 kHz
Burst Operation
- Output Voltage: 0-4.5 kV
- Output Capacitance: 0-4 nF
- Pulse Repetition Frequency: 0-500 kHz
- Number of Pulses in a Burst: 0-125
- Burst Repetition Frequency: 0-50 Hz
